Terms and Conditions of Use for online lodgement using ‘MyAssociations’ with the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety.
These terms and conditions are made between the Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (“Department”) and your Incorporated Association (“Association”). They are intended to be binding on your Association and its officers and contact person/s (referred to below as “you/your”).
These terms and conditions apply to your use of the Department’s online lodgement service for Incorporated Associations provided at or from its website AssociationsOnline (‘service’).
By using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The service is voluntary. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, you should not use the service.
The Department reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion.
There are a few help guides available for using AssociationsOnline with advice on how to enrol and use the service.
You must register for access to AssociationsOnline from the service welcome screen.
You will need to ensure you have compatible software, hardware and internet access to use the service. It is your responsibility to pay for these.
The Department is unable to guarantee that electronic lodgement through the internet will always be available or will perform as expected.
The availability of the service does not affect the obligations of an Association to lodge documents with the Commissioner for Consumer Protection as required under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015.
The Department may request you to provide another copy of a document that you have lodged through the service either electronically or in hard copy if the original(s) become corrupted, illegible or incomplete as a result of transmission, storage or for any other reason.
You acknowledge that the website may not be error free and that electronic information provided by you or the Department may be lost or corrupted. The Department does not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of any material on this website.
The Department will not be liable for any loss or damage, however caused (including through negligence), which you may directly or indirectly suffer in connection with your use of the service. The Department does not accept any responsibility for any such loss arising out of your use of or reliance on information contained or accessed through the Service.
If the service is unavailable or if for any other reason you are unable to use the service to undertake transactions, please call the Associations Registrations Section on 1300 304 074 during business hours for assistance.
