Under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (the WHS Act) the Work Health and Safety Commission (the Commission) approves training providers to deliver courses for health and safety representatives. A guide has been developed for organisations seeking approval to deliver courses for health and safety representatives.
The Work Health and Safety Commission criteria for accreditation, and the subsequent Commission approval, requires each provider of an training course representatives to submit an annual report on the delivery of courses for the year ending the preceding 30 June.
Annual reports for training courses for health and safety representatives can be downloaded from the HSR Matters hub.

Health and safety representative refresher training course requirements: Guide
This guide provides the essential information for gaining approval to deliver HSR refresher training. Applicants must already be approved by the Work Health and Safety Commission to provide the initial five-day course.
We all approved registered training organisations offering the HSR five-day training course to participate in our weekly webinar, held every Tuesday, excluding weeks that include a public holiday.
