Respirable crystalline silica air monitoring notification form

From 1 September 2024, a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) who carries out high-risk processing of crystalline silica substances needs to undertake air monitoring for respirable crystalline silica in accordance with the Work Health and Safety (General) Regulations r. 50.

If the monitoring results show the airborne concentration of respirable crystalline silica has exceeded the workplace exposure standard of 0.05 mg/m3, the PCBU must report the results to the WorkSafe Commissioner using this form.
