1 Research.
Before you book your car in for a service, new tyres or repairs ask for recommendations from your friends or a community leader.
2 Look for the tick.
The tick shows that the repairer is licensed. Learn more about the “Look for the tick” campaign by visiting www.myautorepairer.com.au
3 Check your repairer’s licence.
Go to www.myautorepairer.com.au to check that your chosen repairer has the correct licence or certificate to work on your car.
4 Report unlicensed repairers.
Report unlicensed motor vehicle repairers to consumer@demirs.wa.gov.au or 1300 304 054.
