This guidance note applies to all workplaces in Western Australia covered by the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 and provides guidance on preparing for emergency evacuations at the workplace and some of the legislative requirements in the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1996. However, it is not possible to deal with
every situation that may be found at workplaces, where there is the potential for an emergency and where emergency evacuations may be required.
