This document applies to all agricultural industry workplaces in Western Australia covered by the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 and provides guidance for employers and workers on the prevention of falls from heights in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 and the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1996. 

As it is not possible to deal with every situation that may be found at workplaces, the practical guidance in this document should be considered in conjunction with the general duties in the OSH Act, specific requirements in the OSH Regulations and the Commission’s Code of practice: Prevention of falls at workplaces.
