ELB Policy – Fit and proper assessment criteria for the issue of licences and permits – Effective from 4 December 2024

The Electrical Licensing Board (the Board) has adopted a new 'Fit and proper person assessment criteria for the issue of licences and permits' policy, which will come into effect Wednesday 4 December 2024.

The Electrical Licensing Board (Board) is required to determine the fitness and propriety of applicants for licences and permits under the Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991 (ELR). The policy provides guidance for the Board in making that determination.
