Choose the correct licence catetory/ies for the types of vehicles you plan to deal in or sell. 

Let us know where you propose to run your business.

If applicable, register your business name and/or company with ASIC.

Fill out the correct application form for your circumstances, making sure you indicate the licence category/ies you have chosen.

Provide a national police certificate that is less than three months old, for each individual in the application.

Pay the appropriate fee.

Consumer Protection will check your credit history to make sure you can support the type of licence you apply for.
