Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow. After today motorists will likely have to wait a week before petrol prices are again at the bottom of the price cycle.

FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 27 November 2024), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by over 35 cents per litre (cpl) to 193.6 cpl with Ampol hiking to 211.9 cpl; 7-Eleven, BP, Caltex, Coles Express/Reddy Express and EG Ampol up to 209.9 cpl; Vibe up to 205.7 cpl; and United up to 197.5 cpl.

Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 23 individual sites offering ULP below 159 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying ULP from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 59 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $35 on a 60-litre tank.

Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

  • 154.9 cpl at 7-Eleven Brabham, 7-Eleven Middle Swan, 7-Eleven Midland, 7-Eleven Midvale, 7-Eleven Wattle Grove, Shell Reddy Express Forrestfield, Shell Reddy Express Middle Swan and Shell Reddy Express Upper Swan Roadhouse in the East;
  • 152.7 cpl at Costco Casuarina (Costco sites ae membership based) and Costco Perth Airport, and 153.9 cpl at 7-Eleven Cockburn Central in the South; and
  • 152.2 cpl at Metro Bassendean in the North.

Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

  • 158.7 cpl at Vibe Forrestfield in the East;
  • 152.7 cpl at Costco Casuarina and Costco Perth Airport, and 155.3 cpl at Burk Camillo in the South; and
  • 153.3 cpl at Burk Bassendean in the North.
