Motorists in Perth and Mandurah are advised to fill up now if they need to, with petrol prices set to rise tomorrow. After today motorists will likely have to wait a week before petrol prices are again at the bottom of the price cycle.

FuelWatch reports that, from 6am tomorrow (Wednesday 13 November 2024), the average price of Perth’s regular unleaded petrol (ULP) will increase by over 33 cents per litre (cpl) to 191.2 cpl with 7-Eleven, Ampol, BP, Caltex and EG Ampol hiking up to 209.9 cpl; Coles Express/Reddy Express up to 207.9 cpl; Vibe up to 205.7 cpl; and United up to 194.7 cpl.

Despite the average hike tomorrow, there are still 25 individual sites offering ULP below 157 cpl, so consumers should check the FuelWatch website to find the lowest price near them. Buying fuel from the cheapest site rather than the most expensive, a difference of 56 cpl, means motorists can potentially save $33 on a 60-litre tank.

Tuesday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

  • 154.9 cpl at 7-Eleven Brabham, EG Ampol Brabham, Shell Reddy Express Forrestfield, Shell Reddy Express Middle Swan and Shell Reddy Express Upper Swan Roadhouse in the East;
  • 151.9 cpl at Ampol Foodary South Lake in the South; and
  • 153.3 cpl at EG Ampol Greenwood in the North.

Wednesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

  • 157.5 cpl at Atlas Fuel Forrestfield in the East;
  • 153.9 cpl at Vibe Canning Vale in the South; and
  • 153.3 cpl at Liberty Landsdale and X Convenience Alkimos in the North.

To find the cheapest fuel at any time, check the mobile compatible www.fuelwatch.wa.gov.au site which features an interactive map. After 2.30pm each day both today’s and tomorrow’s prices are available. Also, get a daily update by subscribing to free email alerts or phone 1300 30 40 54.
