Within five working days of completing any major plumbing work, a AMR plumber undertaking the activities of a licensed plumbing contractor in WA must:
* Please note licensed plumbing contractors are required to submit a drainage plumbing diagram when they are the responsible person for drainage plumbing work that involves the installation, alteration or extension of drainage plumbing. If for any reason a AMR plumber undertaking the activities of a licensed plumbing contractor in WA commences plumbing work but will not complete all of the work identified in the notice, the plumbing work carried out must be certified. To certify partial plumbing work completed in relation to that described on the notice of intention the plumber must accurately reflect the work that has been carried out by completing the reverse side of the certificate of compliance when submitting it to the Board.
If a AMR plumber undertaking the activities of a licensed plumbing contractor in WA submits a notice of intention to the Board but the plumber has not commenced and will no longer be responsible for carrying out any of the plumbing work specified in the notice, the contractor must withdraw the notice by completing the reverse side of the certificate of compliance and submitting it to the Board.
