Work health and safety duties

For businesses

If you are a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU), you must protect workers from bullying, including managing risks and providing necessary information and support.

If you manage or control a workplace, you are responsible for ensuring the physical and mental health and safety of workers. This includes providing the necessary information and support to address bullying. You must also consult with workers on any health and safety issues that could affect them.
