How to set up your workstation

This page is for:
Employee / workerEmployer

The positioning of furniture and equipment at a workstation directly impacts your posture, so it is essential that workstations are set up to meet the needs to the user.Equipment and furniture needs to be adjustable to ensure that employees can minimise the risk of musculoskeletal injury from prolonged awkward postures.

When setting up your workstation, consideration must be given to the tasks being performed (e.g. data entry, administrative tasks, interactive tasks), equipment being used and individual needs of the user.Further detail on setting up your workstation is available in the workstation set up guide.
