On 23 February 2018, the Minister announced the establishment of the IAG, as a means of facilitating consultation with key industry stakeholders on measures to improve security of payment for subcontractors in the WA building and construction industry.

This report represents the culmination of a six-month targeted consultation process, including relevant background information and recommendations for reform. These reforms will deliver on the Government’s election commitment to improve protections for subcontractors.
